This comprehensive course is for both beginners or a refresher for those who might have missed a few steps in their training. We begin with: 

Business Basics: Industry Terms, Best Practices - Knowing Your Type, Headshots, Resumes, Reels, Agents, CD’s, Casting Sites and Professional Protocols.

Audition Basics: Story Telling, Script Analysis, Sides/Breakdowns, Memorization in rehearsal, Monologues for Camera.

On Camera Basics: Understanding Marks, Focal Points/Site Lines, Volume/Speech, Monologue/Scenes, Working With A Reader, Delivering a Performance, Slates.

Self-Taping Basics: Self-tape Setup, Backgrounds, Lighting Options, Cameras, Tri-Pods.

Self-Tape Auditions: Monologue Prep, Delivery, Recording, Editing, Submission.

Self-Tape Review/Callback: Scene Prep, Delivery, Recording, Receiving/Executing Live Adjustments.   $600

Through a series of scripted and non-scripted work, you are guided through a process towards authenticity in delivery. The goal is to access your own emotional life and being, and to observe this on Camera as a baseline for all future work.  $300

This is for the experienced actor who is seeking to gain a competitive edge in their self tape auditions. You will receive type appropriate sides to tape.  We will review your tapes, address technical issues, performance obstacles, personalize material and work on receiving/executing live notes.  $300

This is for the experienced actor seeking to tackle physical challenges in scripts (ex: fights scenes, running, scenes in cars, procedural shows) into strong and manageable choices and confident self-tape submissions.   $300

Landing your first Co-Star role on TV can be harder than you think. But getting that first job can really build confidence and momentum in your career. With auditions that are tailored to your type, we will look at the specific ways a Co-Star role fits into a show and how to make strong and clear choices.  We will also work on creative alternate takes.  $300

Understanding the difference between Feature and Indie film, scale of performance and also interpreting your place in the overall story in a role can make a major difference in your audition. We will work scenes in your type and explore different genres in film.   $300

Industrial auditions are a very specific medium that have a different focus from Commercial advertising. Script Analysis in this genre is very important as understanding and delivering word-heavy dialogue has its challenges. We will focus on making your performance personal and elevated.   $300

From wacky to wonderful, there are so many types of commercials out there. Learning how to decipher a script, make strong choices and physicalize specific and ad-agency-focused material is what gives you a competitive edge. We will focus on you finding those strong choices and personalizing your auditions.   $300

There is really so much more to consider in addition to the script when it comes to auditions. What are some of the differences between Feature Film, Indie Film and Television; Network Television and Cable - How does understanding this or a Writer or Director’s previous work inform your audition?  We will look at these topics and more.  $150

In the era of Self-Tapes which allows us to audition for many different projects in multiple locations — How do you position yourself as an Actor?  What is a local hire?  How do you prepare for all of what that entails regarding travel, housing, representation? We will explore regional agents, casting directors and working as a local-hire or modified local-hire and what to expect when you book a job in another state.  $150
