TAPE IT-ABQ, LLC is owned and operated by John Forbes, whose 35-year international career as a producer, director, actor, and writer includes notable highlights. John has worked on Broadway with Jackie—An American Life and Produced off-Broadway with Hedwig & The Angry Inch and The Great American Trailer Park Musical. As an associate producer for NYC’s Ensemble Studio Theatre, he collaborated with artists like Richard Dreyfuss, Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick, Lucie Arnaz, Mandy Patinkin, and writers such as Wendy Wasserstein, John Patrick Shanley, and Christopher Durang. Trained at San Francisco’s American Conservatory Theater, John transitioned from stage to screen, with recent acting credits in The Maggie Moore(s) with Jon Hamm, All Those Small Things with James Faulkner, Better Call Saul with Carol Burnett, The Resident, GRIMM, and various commercials and industrials. As an acting teacher and coach, he has guided actors in five U.S. markets and internationally, committed to “Passionately expressing the Creator’s love through art and service!”
